The Recollect line is a private assemblage of very important and historically valued pieces that are kept as signature parts of the Maria Angelica portfolio.

Elegant and witty, vintage shell cameos dangle playfully alongside silver half moons and blue chevron glass beads. Even better—the cameos swing as you move! In the absence of photographs, cameos bore carved profiles of faces, serving as mementos and beautifully preserved portraits. Vastly popular in Europe, cameos made their way to the Philippines thanks to the Spaniards who came and decided to stay here, even after the end of Spanish rule in 1898.
