Tamborine jewelry was worn extensively by the Filipinas that inherited the art and culture that the Spaniards brought to our country and mostly crafted in the Ilocos region using the filigree technique. This particular tamborine necklace dates from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Revived and brought back to its glory, it is safe to say that this piece could last centuries more.
