This cuff is a salute to the hammered or repousse style that was popular in 16th to 18th century Europe. Our version has two layers of 18k gold sheets that have been hammered by hand to create the intricate, free flowing design. Repousse is a metalworking technique used on maleable materials to create a design in low relief.
